Looks: Like a Strat! You can't go wrong with black and a Rosewood neck!

Sounds: Good for blues, rock and modern country. Like most Strats it's pretty noisy.

Plays: Decent once the action is adjusted to taste and it's easily adjustable.

Fantasy: Yes, you'll be the Guitar God of your choice I'm sure!

Bottom line: Look, no punches pulled, this is an instrument and amp combo aimed strictly at beginners. Novices rarely spend much money until they see how the learning process goes and the quality reflects that.

That being said it's not horrible and will get you started, you'll be able to learn to play on it. Best of all with the Fender name attached to it you won't have to hang your head and mumble when people ask you what kind of guitar you have. But you'll almost surely want to replace both the amp and the guitar about the time you get serious about playing with a local band or engage in any kind of public performance.
