Disney by Washburn Hannah Montana 3/4 Scale Electric Guitar Review!
My daughter is learning to play on the Hannah Montana guitar! Is there a stronger endorsement than that?
It's a much better guitar than I expected for the price. The materials- a hardwood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard- are exactly the same as an old Gibson SG I owned back in the day. Strangely, the single coil pickups sound a lot like the SG's humbuckers and slightly out of phase in the middle position (not a bad thing at all). The tone is great!
One thing that gets pretty annoying on most beginner level instruments is they won't stay in tune but this Hannah Montana Disney Guitar tunes easily and stays that way, even after some intentional string bending.
The Hannah Montana paint job is super, just looking at it is enough to make a young girl (and possibly a Dad although this is not an admission of guilt, lol) want to play it! Isn't that half the battle with kids learning an instrument- getting the student to want to practice?
