Taylor DN3 Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar Review!

It's one of the best selling Taylor guitars, play a few chords and it's easy to see why: great tone and quality materials. Just about every full time studio guitarist in Nashville I've worked with uses a Taylor for session work and that alone is a "you can't top that" endorsement.

It's obvious that the neck is relatively stable and easy-to-adjust, unlike most acoustics! And the above-average quality tuners kept this guitar perfectly in tune for over 50 minutes even though I was bending the strings quite a bit. So tuning, harmonics and keeping it consistently tuned no matter where you voice the chords up or down the neck should be a non-issue.

It's a bright, clear-sounding guitar due in no small part to the Sitka Spruce top. Amazingly, unlike most Sitka topped guitars I've played it retains deep, resonant bass response which Taylor attributes to a rebracing technique they originated. Whatever, it's solid as an acoustic can be and this guitar has tone to spare at both the high and low end of the spectrum. It sounds like you'd expect a Taylor to sound, what more do you need to know?
