A song titled "True Love" Bill produced for client Greg Wilson has been signed by the NBC special features division for use during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

His recent collaboration w/ songwriter Dan Mathews has resulted in two Watson/Mathews compositions being signed to song publishers: Both"On Hallowed Ground" and "Lady In The Harbor" are currently signed to Dreamseekers (BMI) Nashville.

In August '06, a third Watson/Mathews song titled "Country Legends Jamboree" was signed to Brandon Hills Music (BMI). Publishing was later split w/ a California publisher to facilitiate an independent artist recording cut in Oct. '06. Brandon Hills also signed a fourth song titled "Daddy's Hand" on Sept. 22. With three more songs that were assigned to Dreamseekers, Nashville on 6-20-07 Dan & Bill have 8 songs signed to three different song publishers.

Bill is currently producing & playing guitars & bass guitar on 12 songs for various clients at his studio, Nashville Trax. The other musicians on the Nashville Trax recordings include David Northrup (of Travis Tritt's band) on drums, Steve King (master session musician- piano/keyboards), several members of The Oak Ridge Boys' band and Justin Clark (Carolyn Dawn Johnson/Mark Wills/SheDAISY) on fiddle, banjo, mandolin and dobro.

Ten oldies rock tunes (such as Brown Eyed Girl, Givin' It Up For Your Love, Life In The Fast Lane, and others) were live-tracked on 2-27-07 with David Northrup on drums, Scotty Simpson on bass, both of Travis Tritt's band, and Bill on guitar and vocals.

In late February '07, Bill engineered an eight song acoustic guitar/vocal project at Nashville Trax for the Nashville songwriting team of Amy Nash and Paul Wilmet.

Mixing was completed in mid-February '07 on 10 songs Bill produced for contemporary Christian artist Denise Landis of Franklin, TN at Nashville Trax.

The Jon Smith Project: In January of '07 songwriter extraordinaire, Jon Smith, approached Bill about the possibility of cutting 6 gospel tunes he'd written. That has now parlayed into 60 songs cut over the past year, the first of two planned 12 song CDs already completed, a successful showcase live performance of Jon's songs at 3rd & Lindsley on Dec. 11th, 2007, and a live video. Additional recording sessions and performances are scheduled in '08.

The Jon Smith sessions have featured several A-list & Grammy winning musicians. 24 songs were tracked & mixed at Palm Tree Dreams Studios (30 Music Sq. West, Nashville) with Bill producing and Ron Palmer engineering. 36 additional songs have been tracked at Bill's Nashville Trax studio from June of '07 through December. A partial list of musicians used include Steve Hornsbeak (Steve was formerly with Faith Hill for four years and is currently playing for Richard Marx), Rob MacNally of Delbert McClinton's band, Howard Duck (keyboardist for Rascal Flatts) and Nashville master session players Hank Singer and Mike Johnson (the steel player on Carrie Underwood's hit "Think Before He Cheats" and songs by Kenney Chesney, Brad Paisley, Shania Twain and other country hits).
